The Saturday march in Tbilisi took place under the slogan: "For a safe and strong Georgia"; its participants demanded changes in the ruling party's policy and the release of political prisoners.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on the 611th day of pro-European actions in Tbilisi, police again detained protest participant Tornike Toshkua for a poster with an obscene word dedicated to the founder of "Georgian Dream".

"For a safe and strong Georgia" — under this slogan, participants of the Saturday march are holding a protest march in Tbilisi. Initially, the participants gathered at the "Avlabari" metro station, from where they marched to the parliament building. According to the participants, the Saturday march is a demonstration that citizens do not cease their struggle for a better future for Georgia. They state that they will continue the fight until the country becomes free and independent, reports "Interpressnews".

The participants of the march unfurled a large flag of Georgia, and they also held flags of the EU, USA, Ukraine, and posters demanding a change in political course and the release of political prisoners, according to a report published by photographer Georgy Mosiashvili on his Facebook page.

The participants of the march, gathered near the parliament, voted on a new location for the protest action. The Philharmonic, parliament, presidential palace, chancellery, and city council were proposed. According to the participants of the rally, it was decided by a majority vote to move the rally to the city council. The organizers plan to submit a preliminary notice regarding the new location to the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Monday, writes Publika.

Protesters in Georgia have been demanding new parliamentary elections and the release of political prisoners since November 28, 2024. Law enforcement has conducted harsh dispersals of protests, using tear gas and water cannons, and detaining protesters. During the protests, thousands of people have faced administrative prosecution.
