Police Colonel Sakrat Magomedbekov, Deputy Chief of the Russian National Guard Directorate for Dagestan, presented the Order of Courage to the family of Senior Sergeant Shikhakhmed Gadzhiev, a National Guard serviceman who was killed during a special military operation, the press service of the Russian National Guard for the North Caucasus District reported on its Telegram channel.
The award was presented to the serviceman's widow and mother. The details of the soldier's biography and death are not provided in the report.
Thus, at least 2,053 servicemen from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front.
