A fighter from Dagestan was killed in the special military operation zone.

Murad Magomedov from the Sergokalin district was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have acknowledged at least 2052 combatants from Dagestan killed there.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by July 30, officials and security forces officially named the names of at least 2051 killed servicemen from Dagestan in Ukraine.

The administration of the Sergokalin district reported on the transfer of the Order of Courage to the relatives of the soldier Murad Magomedov, who was killed in the combat zone in Ukraine, on their social media page "VKontakte".

Details of the military's biography and death were not provided in the administration's message.

Thus, at least 2052 servicemen from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District who were killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and security agencies, according to the report from "Caucasian Knot" "Statistics of the special military operation: losses are increasing for southern Russia".

At the end of September 2025, the administration of the Sergokalin district informed that Magomed Abdusalamov was killed in the combat zone in Ukraine.
