A resident of the Krasnodar Territory is accused of attempting to set fire to a police car.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnodar Territory has submitted an indictment to the court in the criminal case against a 20-year-old resident of Goryachy Klyuch. The investigation claims that the young man planned to set fire to a police car at the behest of Ukrainian special services.

According to the investigation, on September 5, 2025, the young man, acting on the orders of the SBU, poured gasoline on a service vehicle while near the police department building, but did not manage to set it on fire.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnodar Territory has approved the indictment in the criminal case against a 20-year-old resident of Goryachy Klyuch. He is accused of attempting to commit a terrorist act and treason , the regional prosecutor's office reported today on its Telegram channel.

The criminal case has been sent to the Southern District Military Court for consideration on the merits, the supervisory agency clarified.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that at the end of March, a 21-year-old resident of the Krasnodar Territory was taken into custody, accused of preparing a terrorist act at the training base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Novorossiysk.
