The court in Nalchik sentenced serviceman Rustam Datsiev to five years and six months in prison, finding him guilty of being absent from service for more than a month.

According to the case materials, serviceman Rustam Datsiev was absent from service from November 13, 2023, to February 1, 2024, and then from April 14, 2026, to June 10, 2026, and was at his place of residence, where he spent time at his discretion.

In the first case, Datsiev himself reported to the military unit, and in the second case, he voluntarily arrived at the military investigative department.

The Nalchik garrison military court found Rustam Datsiev guilty of evading service for more than one month and sentenced him to five years and six months of imprisonment in a general regime colony, the court's press service reported on July 28 on its social media page on "VKontakte."

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that earlier the court in Nalchik sentenced Marat Shikov to actual imprisonment for being absent from service for more than four months.
