Samir Shirinyov was found guilty of negligent storage of firearms (Article 230 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan) and sentenced to corrective labor for 2 years with 20% of his monthly earnings withheld for the state.
As for the teenager, he is currently detained and has been charged with articles 29 - 120.2.2 (attempted murder committed out of hooligan motives) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
