During the aftermath of the hurricane in the Rostov region, two people died due to violations of safety rules when working with electrical equipment.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on the night of July 26, a hurricane occurred in the Rostov region, causing power supply issues in cities and districts of the region, and in some areas, there were also water supply problems. By the evening of July 27, after the hurricane, thousands of residents of Novocherkassk remained without electricity.

During the work to eliminate the consequences of the hurricane in the Rostov region, two people died, Interfax reported today, citing the press service of the regional administration.

"They were working with electrical equipment in violation of safety regulations," a representative of the regional administration was quoted by RIA "Novosti" today.

It should be noted that a state of emergency was declared in Rostov-on-Don on July 26, and more than 50 residents of the region sought medical assistance after the hurricane, with one person dying.

Residents of the Rostov region complained that during the hurricane, police, rescue services, gas, and utility services were unavailable, and in some cases, specialists did not arrive for several hours.

According to the data from the weather service "Caucasian Knot", today in Rostov-on-Don there is variable cloudiness, the air temperature is +30 degrees, and the wind speed is 3 meters per second. A light rain is forecasted for the night of July 29, the air temperature will drop to +22 degrees, and the wind speed will decrease to 1 meter per second.
