Residents of Kabardino-Balkaria complained about the high cost of fuel at gas stations.

In Kabardino-Balkaria, gas stations continue to operate intermittently, queues remain, and gasoline prices reach 150 rubles per liter, local residents stated, commenting on the Ministry of Energy's report on the stabilization of the fuel situation.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", major gas station networks have eased fuel sales limits in southern Russia. Thus, "Rosneft" and "Bashneft" have increased the gasoline sales limit to 50 liters, while "Gazprom" has completely lifted restrictions at its gas stations in Astrakhan, Volgograd, and Rostov regions, as well as in Krasnodar and Stavropol territories. Analysts stated that it is not advisable to completely lift limits until October, when the high demand season ends.

In a number of regions, the situation with fuel supply is stabilizing – the number of operating gas stations is increasing and queues are decreasing, said Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev, whose words were quoted by "Interfax" on July 24.

The minister noted that wholesale prices for fuel have approached comfortable levels for market participants.

They pointed to high prices, queues, and interruptions in the operation of gas stations.

Commentators compared gasoline prices in Kabardino-Balkaria with neighboring regions and demanded increased price control.

Users pointed out the difference in fuel prices at different gas stations.

At the exit from Nalchik, on the Urvan highway, at the "NTK" gas station, diesel costs 120 rubles, at Golovko, at the "NTK" gas station, it costs 115 rubles. Recall that on July 14, residents of Kabardino-Balkaria complained that prices in the republic for certain types of fuel have roughly doubled over the past month, and the authorities are not taking measures to curb them and reduce queues at gas stations.

On July 7, residents of Nalchik and local drivers reported that the fuel crisis led to the closure of "Lukoil" gas stations in the city, prices for gasoline at private gas stations are inflated, and at "Rosneft" gas stations, where previous prices remain, large queues are forming.
