As reported by "Caucasian Knot", earlier the authorities and security forces officially recognized at least 458 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria as killed in Ukraine.
"Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and the Southern Federal District who were killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and security agencies, according to the report of "Caucasian Knot" "SVO Statistics: Losses in Southern Russia are Growing".
Sergeant Zelim Khaptsiev was killed in the military operation in Ukraine, the administration of Prokhladny reported on its social media page "VKontakte".
Thus, at least 459 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria have been officially recognized as killed in the SVO. "Caucasian Knot" knows the names of 446 of them, and the deaths of another 13 became known from the report of the republic's authorities on payments to the families of those killed in 2022.
