The court has sentenced TikToker Magsad Bagirov to 10 days in jail; an administrative protocol has been drawn up against him for unethical behavior on the internet.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", at the beginning of the year, amendments to the law "On Information, Informatization and Protection of Information" came into force in Azerbaijan, which establish responsibility for the dissemination of content on the Internet that contains "insult to public morality and open disrespect for society", as well as "indecent expressions, gestures, or demonstration of body parts in a manner contrary to moral and national-spiritual values".

In Azerbaijan, TikToker Magsad Bagirov, known by the nickname Cevik, has been detained, Oxu.az reports on July 27.

The blogger is known for his anti-religious statements. An administrative protocol has been drawn up against him under Article 510.2 of the Administrative Code of Azerbaijan. By court decision, Bagirov has been sentenced to 10 days in jail, and after the materials are processed, the case will be sent to court.
