The court in the Kanevsky district fined a local resident for posting photos with banned Nazi symbols on social media.
A 23-year-old resident of the Kanevskaya stanitsa posted photos with banned Nazi symbols on his open social media page; an administrative protocol was drawn up against the young man under part 1 of article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (propaganda or public demonstration of Nazi attributes or symbols), reported "Utrenny Yuzh" on July 27.
The court found the stanitsa resident guilty of the specified offense and imposed a monetary fine as punishment.
Earlier, "Caucasian Knot" reported that at the end of June, a resident of the Buinaksky district, Kurban Arabkhanov, was sentenced to one year and six months in a strict regime colony for posting banned symbols in Russia online.
