Police detained a 19-year-old resident of Krasnodar for filming the aftermath of a drone attack. The young man was forced to confess on camera.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the governor of Kuban, Veniamin Kondratiev, announced on the morning of June 22 about one dead and ten injured as a result of the night drone attack: in Armavir, an employee of a company died after debris from a drone fell, while others were injured in a fire at a warehouse complex in Krasnodar. Later, he stated that one of the injured had died in the hospital.

Employees of the Center "E" in Krasnodar discovered a video on the internet in which a young man shows a burning room in Krasnodar after the drone attack and the objects installed along it, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Krasnodar Krai reported today on their Telegram channel.

In Krasnodar Krai, a ban on the dissemination of information about drone attacks and their consequences, filming the work of air defense, military facilities, and critical infrastructure has been in effect since September 2025. In December 2025, the authorities of Kuban introduced fines for filming air attacks and the work of air defense. A corresponding bill of the regional legislative assembly has been published on "Caucasian Knot".

"Police quickly identified the author of the publication, who turned out to be a 19-year-old newcomer from Kropotkin living in the regional capital," the press service's message states.

The agency published a short video with the violator of the filming ban. The young man's face is hidden in it. "I filmed the video after the attack, I sincerely confess for my actions and I do not advise anyone to film such things," he says in front of the camera.

The materials were sent to the administrative commission, which will determine the penalty. The young man faces a fine for violating the existing ban in Krasnodar Krai on filming and publishing materials about the work of air defense systems and the consequences of drone strikes .

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that employees of the Center "E" in Krasnodar also detained a 19-year-old local resident for publishing a video about the consequences of a drone attack on a Wildberries warehouse. The girl was forced to confess on camera.
