The number of fatalities from the drone attack in the Rostov region has risen to five.

Among the dead whose bodies were found in Rostov-on-Don was a child. One resident of Taganrog was injured.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", drones attacked the Rostov region last night. Authorities previously reported that two people died and eight were injured, with one of them in serious condition, having sustained significant burns and fractures. Residents of three apartment buildings that were damaged were evacuated, and 56 people are in a temporary accommodation center.

The total number of victims of the attack has reached five. The bodies of two adults and a child were found during the debris clearance of an apartment building in Rostov-on-Don.

"The number of victims of the enemy night attack on Rostov has increased: three more people have been found dead. They were discovered by rescuers during the debris clearance of the apartment building that was hit by a UAV," wrote the governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, on his Telegram channel.

One person hospitalized after the attack in Taganrog

The person injured in the air attack on Taganrog was hospitalized in the city clinical emergency hospital.

In Taganrog today, a production facility building was damaged.

"Updated information on the consequences of the air attack on July 27 in Taganrog. One person sought medical assistance. He was hospitalized in the trauma department of the 1st City Clinical Emergency Hospital. His condition is of moderate severity," reported the head of the city, Svetlana Kamburova, on her Telegram channel. According to the official, several citizens also reported damage to their apartments.

Let us remind you that the Rostov region regularly faces drone attacks. For instance, on the night of July 25, as a result of a drone attack, four people were injured in Rostov-on-Don and one in the Krasnosulinsky district.

Drone attacks on oil refineries, including in southern Russia, have led to a fuel crisis. On July 25, residents of Rostov-on-Don reported that fuel prices in the city remain high. According to them, at some gas stations, a liter of fuel costs between 100 and 150 rubles, and queues persist at the pumps.
