Two people died in the drone attack on Rostov-on-Don.

During the night attack on Rostov-on-Don, two people died and five were injured.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", drones attacked the Rostov region last night. In the Proletarsky district, a multi-apartment building was damaged during the airstrike, and its residents were evacuated.

In Rostov-on-Don, during the night drone attack, two people died, the city's mayor Alexander Skryabin reported today. "Five people sustained injuries of varying severity. Medical personnel are providing them with all necessary assistance," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Residential and commercial buildings in the Lenin, Proletarsky, and Railway districts of the city were damaged. The city head noted that assistance would be provided to the owners of the buildings and premises.

The two deceased residents of Rostov were spouses. Two people who were injured are in serious condition, including a teenager. One person with minor injuries received assistance on the spot, while four were hospitalized, the governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusar reported today on his Telegram channel.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the Rostov region is regularly subjected to drone attacks. For instance, on the night of July 25, four people were injured in Rostov-on-Don due to a drone attack, and one more in the Krasnosulinsky district. On July 20, due to the fall of drone debris in the Sholokhovsky district, a forest caught fire. On July 19, in the Krasnosulinsky district, a wheat field caught fire also due to the fall of drone debris.

Against the backdrop of drone attacks on oil refineries (ORFs), including those located in southern Russia, a fuel crisis has emerged. On July 25, residents of Rostov-on-Don reported that high fuel prices persist in the city. According to them, at some gas stations, fuel is sold for 100 – 150 rubles per liter, and there are still queues at the gas stations.
