The authorities of North Ossetia reported on the fight against repeated refueling at gas stations.
The Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of North Ossetia, together with the largest operators of gas stations, will connect surveillance cameras to the departmental system to prevent the same vehicle from being refueled twice.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", residents of Vladikavkaz and Mozdok reported on July 20 that fuel prices at some gas stations of private networks in North Ossetia have slightly decreased, however, the shortage of gasoline and queues at federal gas stations persist. According to drivers, the increase in fuel costs forces them to save on other items in the family budget. As of today, more than a quarter of the gas stations in the republic had no fuel; the authorities of the republic announced that the sale of gasoline to residents of other regions is limited to 20 liters per transaction, while local residents can refuel up to 40 liters.
At the same time, Sergey Menyaylo stated that in North Ossetia, fuel prices are twice lower than in Kabardino-Balkaria. Residents of North Ossetia, commenting on his words on social media, pointed out that real prices at gas stations are significantly higher. They also complained about queues at gas stations and the lack of gasoline in the evening.
The Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of North Ossetia, together with the largest operators of gas stations, will connect surveillance cameras to the departmental system.
This will allow real-time detection of cases when the same vehicle attempts to refuel again at one gas station, bypassing existing restrictions. In such cases, refueling will be denied.
This measure is aimed at controlling compliance with fuel dispensing rules and ensuring its even availability for all consumers and was introduced by the decision of the head of the republic, Sergey Menyaylo, as stated in a message on the department's Telegram channel.
In the last 24 hours, up-to-date information has been provided for 18 gas stations located in different districts and cities of the republic, with data provided by 15 Gazprom gas stations, two Atsamaz gas stations, and one gas station in the village of Oktyabrsky.
Thus, according to the latest data, there is no fuel at three gas stations, two have only diesel fuel, AI-95 is available at seven gas stations, and all types of fuel are available only at the gas station in the village of Oktyabrskoye.
