The criminal case of the former acting Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Krasnodar Territory, Sergey Shtrikov, has been transferred to the court for consideration.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Krasnodar Territory, Sergey Shtrikov, was detained by the FSB officers of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory on suspicion of exceeding official powers, and the court arrested him for two months.

The case of the former acting Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Krasnodar Territory, Sergey Shtrikov, has been transferred to the court for consideration, reports "Utrenny Yuga" on July 25, citing the court case database.

The materials of the criminal case have already been submitted to the judge of the Pervomaisky District Court, and the date for the preliminary court hearing has not yet been set. The former official has been charged under paragraph "e" of part 3 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the case materials, in 2024, Shtrikov, while serving as the Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Krasnodar Territory, instructed his subordinates to prepare fictitious documents about allegedly identified violations during the already completed auction for the purchase and installation of a modular fire station building, in order to annul its results. After conducting repeated bidding, a contract was concluded with a company that was lobbied by the official, reports the unified press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory on its Telegram channel.
