The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, reported that the Akhmat Kadyrov Public Fund has begun a humanitarian mission in the Gaza Strip, which will cover one million people. As part of this, food has already been delivered to refugee camps.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the authorities of Chechnya previously reported the arrival of 209 refugees from Palestine, and after several months, families were handed the keys to apartments. Earlier, the head Ahmed Dudayev stated at a meeting with refugees that they should maintain cleanliness and be more organized, and they should not rush the republic's authorities to solve their problems. Dudayev's reproaches towards the guests contradict Chechen hospitality traditions, noted Caucasian studies experts and human rights activists. In June, Kadyrov reported on the issuance of 20,000 rubles to about 200 displaced persons from Palestine.

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, reported today on his Telegram channel that the regional Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov Public Fund is expanding the volume and scale of humanitarian aid supplied to the Gaza Strip, with the upcoming action covering one million people.

According to him, on the first day of the "next stage of the charitable mission", 40 tons of flour, 40 tons of sugar, 40 tons of pasta, 40 tons of rice, and 40 tons of lentils were delivered to the tent camps of internally displaced persons located in crisis areas.

Kadyrov noted that the fund is "increasing the supply of humanitarian cargo for needy Palestinian families and preparing for more extensive charitable actions".

It should be noted that the activities of charitable organizations collecting aid for Palestine have been suspended in Chechnya, with the authorities explaining this decision by the lack of transparency and concerns that the money may not be used for its intended purpose. At the same time, the authorities reminded that Kadyrov's fund is providing assistance to Palestine.

Kadyrov's fund was established in 2004. The construction of grand skyscrapers, fabulous fees for stars, and tournaments in mixed martial arts are mentioned alongside the usual social and economic projects typical of bureaucratic reports when it comes to the fund's activities. All budget employees in Chechnya are required to donate about 10% of their income to charity every month, according to a report by the "Caucasian Knot" "Kadyrov's Fund: how they spend "money from Allah".

Muslims of the North Caucasus reacted sharply to the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict that began in October 2023. Information on who and how in the North Caucasus Federal District expressed support for Palestine can be found in the report by the "Caucasian Knot" "Actions in support of Palestine in the North Caucasus".
