The Saturday march as part of pro-European protests took a new route due to the renovation of Rustaveli Avenue. Participants of the action demand the appointment of new parliamentary elections, a return to the path of Georgia's Euro-integration, and the release of those detained during the protests.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", supporters of Georgia's Euro-integration on July 24, on the 604th day of continuous protests at the parliament demanded the release of political prisoners. A court in Tbilisi arrested doctor Giorgi Akhobadze for 25 days on charges of insulting police officers.

The "Saturday march" began from Avlabari Square, from the area adjacent to the metro station. Participants of the action, who have been protesting against the events in the country for two years, will march to the government administration building.

For almost two years, citizens have been gathering at the parliament on Rustaveli Avenue, and traditionally, marches have been held from the Philharmonic to the parliament on Saturdays.
