Five people were injured in a drone attack on the Rostov region.

Last night, during a drone attack, four people were injured in Rostov-on-Don and one more in the Krasnosulinsky district.

According to the governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusary, last night Rostov-on-Don and several districts of the Rostov region were subjected to an air attack.

"Five people were injured: four men in Rostov-on-Don and one in the Krasnosulinsky district. <…> Two have been hospitalized and are in a hospital in Rostov-on-Don," Slyusary reported on his Telegram channel.

In Rostov-on-Don, as a result of drone debris falling, two apartment buildings, two private homes, under-construction high-rises, commercial organizations, and warehouse facilities sustained minor damage. "All fires that occurred as a result of the attack have been extinguished," the governor clarified.

In the Krasnosulinsky district, infrastructure and the building of the checkpoint "Novoshakhtinsk" were damaged. A fire broke out, but it has already been extinguished.

In the Azov district, a private house caught fire due to falling drone debris, and the fire has been extinguished. An administrative building also sustained damage.

In the Myasnikovsky district, commercial properties were damaged.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the Rostov region is regularly subjected to drone attacks. For instance, on July 20, due to falling drone debris in the Sholokhovsky district, a forest caught fire. On July 19, in the Krasnosulinsky district, also due to falling drone debris, a wheat field caught fire. On July 8, drones attacked vessels in the Taganrog Bay, injuring two people.

Against the backdrop of drone attacks on oil refineries (ORFs), including those located in southern Russia, a fuel problem has arisen. Earlier, residents of Rostov-on-Don reported that fuel prices in the city have risen. They noted that the maximum price of gasoline grades AI-92 and AI-95 increased by about a third in just two days at local gas stations.
