Eight apartment buildings and 13 private houses were damaged during the drone attack on July 22 in Krasnodar. Restoration work has begun.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the governor of Kuban, Veniamin Kondratiev, reported on July 22 about one dead and ten injured as a result of the night drone attack: in Armavir, an employee of a company died after debris from the drone fell, while others were injured in a fire at a warehouse complex in Krasnodar. By the evening of the same day, it became known that a girl who was injured in the attack on the Wildberries warehouse had died in the hospital.
The Investigative Committee reported that after the drone attack on warehouse complexes in Krasnodar Krai and Stavropol, civilians were injured and a criminal case was opened for terrorism. This concerns the Wildberries warehouses, as the emblem of this company is visible in the videos of the burning buildings.
The head of Krasnodar, Evgeny Naumov, reported on the evening of July 23 that in the city, particularly in the Prikubansky and Karasunsky districts, the elimination of the consequences of the drone attack is ongoing. Naumov reported this on his Telegram channel.
Damage has been recorded in eight apartment buildings and 13 private houses. Specialists are closing damaged windows, removing shards and debris, and dismantling emergency structures. In one five-story building, the management organization carried out work on the roof to prevent precipitation from entering the building.
The authorities clarified that after the inspections are completed, a decision will be made regarding the provision of one-time financial assistance to residents. Two people are staying in temporary accommodation and will be able to remain there for free until their apartments are restored.
Work is also ongoing at the warehouse complex where a fire occurred after the attack. The fire has been localized, but not completely extinguished; rescuers are pouring water on the structures and clearing the debris.
"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the updated offer from Wildberries in July, with a force majeure condition, deprived sellers from the southern regions of Russia of hope for compensation for losses. They complained that instead of compensation, the marketplace offered them discounts, data disappeared from their personal accounts, and their business was on the brink of liquidation.
