The number of victims of the drone attack in Kuban has increased.
A girl who was injured in the drone attack on the Wildberries warehouse in Krasnodar has died in the hospital. The number of fatalities from the attack on July 22 has risen to two, and three more injured individuals remain in hospitals.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the governor of Kuban, Veniamin Kondratiev, announced in the morning of June 22 about one deceased and ten injured as a result of the night drone attack: in Armavir, an employee of the enterprise died after drone debris fell, while others were injured in a fire at the warehouse complex in Krasnodar.
The Investigative Committee reported that after the drone attacks on warehouse complexes in Krasnodar Krai and Stavropol, civilians were injured and a criminal case was opened for terrorism. This concerns the Wildberries warehouses, as the company's emblem is visible in the videos of the burning buildings.
The girl who was injured in the attack on the Kuban Wildberries warehouse has died, reported the governor of Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratiev. "Unfortunately, the girl who was injured in the attack on the warehouse complex in Krasnodar has died in the hospital," the official wrote on his Telegram channel.
Three of the remaining nine injured individuals at this site are still in hospitals, while six have received outpatient care, Kondratiev added. He previously stated that three of the injured were hospitalized in serious condition, and another in moderate condition.
According to Kondratiev's report, the fire at the warehouse complex has been localized, and at the enterprise in Armavir, where the security guard died, it has been completely extinguished. Thus, the number of fatalities from the attack in Krasnodar Krai has increased to two.
In the Prikuban and Karasun districts of Krasnodar, where homes were damaged as a result of the drone attack on the night of July 22, a local state of emergency has been declared, reported the city head, Evgeny Naumov.
According to the official, residents of the damaged apartments will receive assistance and monetary payments, and can also expect places in temporary accommodation. "Throughout the day, the Krasnodar Rescue Service is helping to clear debris and shards from the apartments, as well as covering window openings with film," the Operational Headquarters of Kuban noted in a statement.
"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the updated July offer from Wildberries with a force majeure condition deprived sellers from the southern regions of Russia of hope for compensation for losses. They complained that instead of compensation, the marketplace offered them discounts, data disappeared from their personal accounts, and their business was on the brink of liquidation.
