A mobilized soldier from Karachay-Cherkessia was killed in the special military operation zone.

Mikhail Khudenko was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 199 fighters from Karachay-Cherkessia have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by June 30, officials and law enforcement agencies officially recognized 198 fighters from Karachay-Cherkessia as killed in Ukraine.

A resident of the village of Udarniy, Mikhail Khudenko was mobilized and then decided to continue his service by signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, reported the administration of the Prikuban district. During his service, he was awarded the Suvorov Medal, the Medal for Military Valor II class, and the Medal of a Participant in the Special Military Operation. He was posthumously nominated for the Order of Courage. He was killed on April 9, 2026. He is survived by a wife and son, reported the administration of the Prikuban district.

Thus, at least 199 combatants from Karachay-Cherkessia have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front.
