Blogger Remeslo has been detained in a case about fakes regarding the army.
Law enforcement detained blogger Ilya Remeslo in St. Petersburg, whose sharp change in attitude towards the special military operation surprised the head of the "Akhmat" special forces, Apti Alaudinov. The case is being investigated under the article on the dissemination of fakes about the army motivated by political hatred.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", native of Nalchik, lawyer and blogger Ilya Remeslo was placed in a St. Petersburg psychiatric hospital after the head of the "Akhmat" special forces, Apti Alaudinov, doubted that the criticism of the president published by a pro-Putin blogger was expressed voluntarily.
Some Z-bloggers are either concealed enemies of Russia or unconsciously serve their interests by criticizing "Akhmat," said the commander of the unit Apti Alaudinov on November 14, 2025. He promised to destroy such Z-bloggers "within the legal framework through criminal law" if they do not apologize. On the same day, the Gelendzhik city court fined the author of the Telegram channel "Ohronota V vatnike" Oksana Kobeleva 30,000 rubles for publishing questions to the commander of the "Akhmat" special forces, Apti Alaudinov, although she later deleted the post and repented for this material. On November 13, Alaudinov announced the reconciliation of two other Z-bloggers, Ilya Remeslo and Vladimir Grubnik - the latter, friendly to "Akhmat," complained to Chechens about criticism from Remeslo. The conflict between Remeslo and Grubnik arose over their attitudes towards pro-Putin Ukrainian defectors in the Z-community.
Blogger Ilya Remeslo has been detained in St. Petersburg as part of a criminal case regarding the dissemination of fakes about the armed forces of the Russian Federation, law enforcement agencies told TASS.
"Remeslo has been detained as part of the ongoing investigation under part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation motivated by political hatred)," said a source from the agency.
He will be transported to Moscow for the selection of a preventive measure, TASS was informed by his lawyer Sergey Badashmin.
The case is being investigated by the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. Remeslo will be taken to the Investigative Committee for investigative actions. Following the interrogation, a decision will be made regarding the selection of a preventive measure for him.
After being hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital, Remeslo spent a week there, Mash reports.
After leaving the hospital, he actively continued his Telegram channel, which has over 122,000 subscribers. He continued to criticize the actions of the authorities and also offered a paid subscription to his articles about the activities of the administration of the President of the Russian Federation and his legal support for companies.
Journalist Ksenia Sobchak called the detention of the blogger expected. "It all looked as if Remeslo wanted this himself and was asking for it, knowing the realities of the system," she wrote in her Telegram channel.
