Four regions in southern Russia have crossed the 100 rubles per liter mark for AI-95.

Rosstat reported that as of July 13, the average price of AI-95 in Kalmykia was over 111 rubles per liter, while in Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, and Chechnya, the price ranged from 100 to 105 rubles per liter. Prices at private gas stations in Chechnya have risen to 190 rubles, readers of "Caucasian Knot" noted.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on July 11, it became known that a limit on fuel sales at gas stations was introduced in the Rostov region - an individual can purchase no more than 30 liters of gasoline for one vehicle. By July 15, the price of gasoline at several gas stations in the region approached 170 rubles per liter, and gasoline has also significantly increased in price in Kalmykia and Stavropol. Former State Duma deputy Oleg Pakholkov reported that gasoline can be purchased without waiting in line in Kalmykia for a price of 130-160 rubles per liter.

According to official data from Rosstat on prices from July 7 to 13, gasoline of all grades and diesel fuel have become more expensive, as stated in the report "On Consumer Prices for Oil Products from July 7 to 13".

In the southern regions of Russia, several regions have crossed the 100 rubles per liter mark for AI-95. The highest prices are in Kalmykia — 111.14 rubles, Dagestan — 105 rubles, Kabardino-Balkaria — 104.33 rubles, and Chechnya — 100.54 rubles.

In other regions on this date, the average price, according to Rosstat, is below 100 rubles.

Overall, according to Rosstat, the average price in the North Caucasus Federal District was 93.94 rubles. In Ingushetia, it was 77.94, in Karachay-Cherkessia 75.44, in North Ossetia 78.75, and in Stavropol 88.37 rubles.

In the Southern Federal District, the average price per liter of gasoline was 89.94. In Krasnodar Krai, it was 82.09, in Astrakhan Oblast 73.68, in Volgograd Oblast 74.16, and in Rostov Oblast 78.69 rubles.

At "Rosneft" gas stations in Chechnya, gasoline is much cheaper than at private ones – 73 rubles per liter of AI-95 compared to 190 at private stations. But at these gas stations in Chechnya, there are very few available.

Readers of "Caucasian Knot" reported that the rise in fuel prices in Chechnya continues.

For instance, colby_nicolas writes that as of the evening of July 14, AI-95 gasoline at gas stations in Chechnya costs 190 rubles per liter, while AI-92 gasoline is sold for 140 rubles per liter. "Previously, it was 105 and 100 respectively. Gas now costs 39 rubles instead of the recent 36 per liter," - he noted.

This information was also confirmed by enrique. "At "Rosneft" gas stations in Chechnya, gasoline is much cheaper than at private ones – 73 rubles per liter of AI-95 compared to 190 at private stations. But at these gas stations in Chechnya, there are very few available, plus there are huge queues," - he writes.

The fuel problem arose against the backdrop of attacks on oil refineries, including those located in southern Russia. For instance, on June 10, a fire occurred at a refinery in the village of Afipsky. On June 5, an oil depot in Ust-Labinsk caught fire, requiring the evacuation of residents from nearby houses. On June 2, a fire broke out at an oil refinery in the village of Ilsk in the Sever district as a result of a drone attack. The fire was extinguished the same day.
