In Dagestan, roads are blocked in three districts after mudflows and landslides.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", due to the rains on July 7-8, 56 settlements in Dagestan were cut off from transport communication. Most of them were freed from the transport blockade only on July 12.

Traffic is temporarily closed on five sections of highways in three districts of Dagestan due to mudflows and rockfalls, reports Interfax on the evening of July 16, citing a message from the State Budgetary Institution "Dagestanavtodor".

According to the agency, traffic is temporarily closed on the regional highway "Gunib Highway - Vantlyashevsky Pass" on the Bezhinsky section due to a mudflow, interrupting transport communication with the Bezhinsky section.

Three sections of roads in the Tlyaratinsky district are temporarily closed due to mudflows, landslides, and road surface washout. Traffic is closed on the 88th kilometer of the regional highway "Gunib Highway - Vantlyashevsky Pass".

The passage of vehicles is prohibited on the republican roads "Tlyarata - Kamiolukh" (from 18 to 42 kilometers) and "Landa - Balagida - Kharada" (from the first to the fourth kilometer). Temporary traffic schemes are not yet organized.

In the Tsuntinsky district, a section of the regional road "Agvali - Shauri - Kidero" (from 45 to 46, as well as from 54 to 54 kilometers) is closed due to a mudflow.
