The authorities' report on the suppression of the witch's activities caused irony among the residents of Chechnya.
Public condemnation of a resident of Chechnya, who was accused of practicing witchcraft, is inappropriate, and the occult rituals themselves resemble more of an illusion and charlatanism than real practices, noted the residents of the republic, commenting on the authorities' report about the suppression of the witch's activities on social media.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on July 13, a video report from the state television channel "Grozny" spread on social media about the suppression of the witch's activities. The head of the Center for Islamic Medicine, Adam Elzhurkaev, reprimanded a resident of Grozny who allegedly practiced occultism.
The video report from ChGTRK "Grozny" about a resident of Grozny who allegedly practiced occultism was published by the Instagram*-public chp.grozni_95, which has about 48.3 thousand followers. This post had garnered 690 likes and 236 comments by 10:40 MSK on July 14. Some users found the format of public demonstration inappropriate.

"This is what her work in school has led to," – sarcastically remarked user sellmaxas.
Another video about another elderly resident of Chechnya who was also caught practicing occultism was published by the Instagram*-public chp.grozny_95. "The witch malfunctioned when Adam Elzhurkaev, a healer-theologian, was nearby. Recall that the elderly woman engaged in occult services was detained," – stated in the publication's description.
In the video footage, the elderly woman demonstrates occult practices in an assembly hall to several people. In the room, a person is sitting on a chair, and the elderly woman moves her hands while looking at him. Then she moves to the other end of the room, stands behind a table, and continues to make gestures with her hands while looking at the subject. Several people observe the actions of the elderly woman, one of whom is filming the event.
After completing the manipulations, the elderly woman stated that she was unable to perform the occult ritual.
The action takes place in an assembly hall, with a stage in the background featuring the flags of Russia and Chechnya, as well as portraits of Akhmat and Ramzan Kadyrov, and Vladimir Putin. This same assembly hall was shown in the report by ChGTRK "Grozny", which discussed the suppression of the witch's activities.

Recall that in Chechnya, there has been a campaign for many years to persecute people who declare themselves healers, psychics, magicians, and witches. It was initially announced by the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, in 2013, then the campaign subsided, but in 2019, the persecution of residents for occultism intensified again. Reports about conversations with detainees conducted by the head of the Center for Islamic Medicine, Adam Elzhurkaev, are periodically published by the state television company "Grozny".
