Zinovkina achieved the resumption of medication issuance in the Georgian prison.

Convicted protest participant in Georgia, Russian citizen Anastasia Zinovkina faced a refusal to receive medication. After addressing the prison administration, the issuance of medications was resumed.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", convicted protest participant in Georgia Anastasia Zinovkina was transferred to a "closed type" prison, her right to make phone calls and the number of visits were restricted. The defense appealed this decision. The reason for the tightening of the regime was complaints about the conditions of detention. She requires the help of an allergist and a dentist, but such types of assistance cannot be provided in detention.

Russian citizens Artem Gribul and Anastasia Zinovkina, who participated in protest actions in Tbilisi, were arrested in December 2024 on charges of drug trafficking. They claim that evidence was planted on them and that law enforcement used threats. On September 12, 2025, a court in Tbilisi sentenced both to 8.5 years in prison. A similar sentence was given to protest participant Anton Chechin on similar charges.

Anastasia Zinovkina reported that she has not been given medication for over a week. Because of this, her condition is worsening again: she says she feels a significant regression in her well-being. In recent months, her condition had stabilized, and the medications provided by the prison administration had helped her. Now she has been informed that the local pharmacy has run out of medications, not even painkillers are available. Zinovkina wrote a statement to the prison administration, reports the Telegram channel "Artem Gribul in prison".

Lawyer Daria Samodurova visited Zinovkina in prison and it turned out that the medication treatment has been resumed, reports Tbilisi Life.

Today at 12 o'clock, a hearing for Artem Gribul and Anastasia Zinovkina will take place in the Tbilisi Court of Appeals. Artem and Anastasia should use their last word. A verdict is expected to be announced, Samodurova reported on her Facebook page on July 12.

Earlier, Zinovkina reported that on October 29, 2025, she did not receive any help from the prison staff for eight hours, although she could not move due to back pain, and the doctor could only offer her "a stronger painkiller that the psychiatrist has." Zinovkina is provided with medical assistance in detention and does not need inpatient treatment, stated the Georgian Penitentiary Service in response to activists' demands to provide her with medical assistance. The appellate court began considering the complaints of the Russians in November. During seizures, convicted Anastasia Zinovkina in Georgia cannot get out of bed, her fingers on her right hand and leg have gone numb, her fiancé Artem Gribul reported.
