He had previously been declared wanted after leaving house arrest related to a hooliganism case to go to the military operation zone. The court placed Guzenko under arrest until December 5. Information about Yegor Guzenko's detention was spread by the Telegram channel "Thirteenth" on July 8. "It's time to tell what happened to Yegor," wrote the author of the publication.
According to the channel, the blogger was detained on charges of inciting hatred or enmity . He may soon be transferred to a pre-trial detention center. According to the co-authors of the channel, he is "in a very difficult situation".
"It is especially painful to realize that this is a person who has been helping our fighters all this time. Thanks to Yegor, humanitarian aid was gathered, and support was provided to those in need," the message states.
Today it became known that Yegor Guzenko has been placed under arrest for two months. "We are raising money for a lawyer. Any amount will be important!" the co-authors of the Telegram channel reported.
As clarified by the Telegram channel SHOT, Guzenko was detained on July 8 in Volgograd.
