A fighter from Dagestan was killed in the military operation
Jabrail Magomedov from the Dahadaevsky district was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 2029 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by July 10, the authorities and security forces officially recognized as killed at least 2028 participants of the military operation in Ukraine from Dagestan.
The head of the Dahadaevsky district, Magomed Abdulkadirov, reported in a Telegram channel about the awarding of the Order of Courage to the mother of Jabrail Magomedov, who was killed in the military operation.
Jabrail Magomedov, known by the call sign "Khuduts", was a volunteer and a father of many children. He died in battles in the Kursk region.
Thus, at least 2029 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District who were killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and security agencies, according to the report of "Caucasian Knot" "Statistics of the Special Military Operation: losses are increasing for southern Russia".
In November 2025, the authorities of the Dahadaevsky district reported that six military personnel had been killed in the area of the Special Military Operation.

"I receive only twelve thousand rubles a month for two minor children as a family of military pensioners," complains the wife of Vasily Shtylun, who received five million rubles from the "Veterans" unit for her husband, who was killed in 2022.
