The case of the former head of "Teploseti" of Stavropol has reached the court.

The criminal case of the former CEO of "Teploseti" of Stavropol, Vladimir Vdovin, accused of receiving a bribe on a particularly large scale, will be considered by the Industrial District Court.

"Caucasian Knot" reported that in August of last year, FSB officers detained the CEO of "Teploseti", Vladimir Vdovin, while receiving a bribe, who had previously been convicted of embezzlement during his tenure as CEO of "Stavropolkrayvodokanal". The court sent him to pre-trial detention.

The criminal case of the former CEO of JSC "Teploset" Vladimir Vdovin has been submitted to the Industrial District Court of Stavropol; he is accused of receiving a bribe on a particularly large scale, writes "Kommersant" on July 7, citing the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.

According to the investigation, Vdovin received more than 2.7 million rubles from an individual entrepreneur in June and August 2025 for extending the lease of three portable mini-thermal power plants. He demanded that the entrepreneur transfer him 30% of the rental fee every three months for using them. Vdovin's property has been seized, and he has been charged under part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Recall that in March 2018, the Lenin District Court of Stavropol found the former CEO of "Stavropolkrayvodokanal" Vladimir Vdovin guilty of embezzlement and sentenced him to three years of suspended imprisonment, as well as a fine of 10,000 rubles. Vdovin appealed the verdict, and in June of the same year, the Stavropol Regional Court replaced his suspended sentence with a fine of half a million rubles.
