Junior sergeant from Prokhladny killed in military operation
In Ukraine, junior sergeant Yusup Niyazov from Prokhladny was killed. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 426 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria have been officially recognized as killed.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", earlier representatives of the authorities and security forces officially recognized at least 425 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.
"Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District who were killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and security agencies, according to the report of "Caucasian Knot" "Statistics of the Special Military Operation: losses in southern Russia are increasing".

Thus, at least 426 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation. "Caucasian Knot" knows the names of 413 of them, and the deaths of another 13 became known from the report of the republic's authorities on payments to the families of those killed in 2022.
