In the Kazbek district, traffic is closed on the bridge due to the subsidence of the span structure as a result of a break, and in the Tabasaransky district, the foundation of the bridge has been washed away and a support has collapsed.

In Dagestan, bridges have been damaged in two districts, and traffic on them is closed.

In the Kazbek district, traffic is closed on the bridge on the road "Access to the village of Leninul from the highway Khasavyurt - Tloh through the village of Almak and Kalininaul". The bridge has subsided due to a break. A detour is being made via the road "Khasavyurt - Tloh", then along the municipal road "Access to the village of Kalininaul", reports Interfax on July 5.

In the Tabasaransky district, traffic is closed on the federal highway "Caucasus" at section 45+400 km, where the left bank support and span structure of the bridge collapsed due to the washing away of the foundation. The destruction occurred due to heavy rains and a critical rise in the water level in the Rubas River. A detour has been organized via the road "Derbent - Huchni - Khiv" with access from the federal highway "Caucasus - Sirtich - Tatil" to the village of Tsukhtyg, with a total length of almost 10 kilometers.

Recall that in late March - early April, dozens of road sections in Dagestan were closed after floods, landslides, and in mountainous areas - after avalanches and snowstorms. The floods that occurred this spring in the North Caucasus were among the most destructive in recent years. In Dagestan, six people died as a result of the flooding, including three minors. Dagestan and Chechnya were the most affected by the elements, according to the report of the "Caucasian Knot" "Spring Flooding in the North Caucasus-2026".
