In the Tabasaransky district, traffic is closed on the federal highway "Caucasus" at section 45+400 km, where the left bank support and span structure of the bridge collapsed due to the washing away of the foundation. The destruction occurred due to heavy rains and a critical rise in the water level in the Rubas River. A detour has been organized via the road "Derbent - Huchni - Khiv" with access from the federal highway "Caucasus - Sirtich - Tatil" to the village of Tsukhtyg, with a total length of almost 10 kilometers.
Recall that in late March - early April, dozens of road sections in Dagestan were closed after floods, landslides, and in mountainous areas - after avalanches and snowstorms. The floods that occurred this spring in the North Caucasus were among the most destructive in recent years. In Dagestan, six people died as a result of the flooding, including three minors.
