The cities on the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar region are facing a severe situation with the availability of gasoline. Local residents reported long lines and the sale of fuel through connections.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the authorities of Kuban announced at the end of June that only part of the gas stations in the region are operating. At these gas stations, the owners have limited the sale of fuel. Governor Veniamin Kondratiev explained the rise in fuel prices by the peak of the tourist season.

On July 4, drivers told a correspondent of "Caucasian Knot" that the situation with gasoline in the cities on the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar region is extremely severe. The survey is not representative and reflects only the private opinions of the respondents.

A resident of Novorossiysk Sergey confirmed media reports about the difficult situation in the city. "It's serious, there are huge lines, often up to 90 cars. And when you have stood in such a line and the gas station runs out of gasoline in front of you, you stand there and think about what to do," he said.

According to his estimate, gasoline prices have risen by 13% - from 61 rubles to 69 rubles.

Other gas stations sell gasoline through fuel cards, although officially there is no gasoline there.

Alexander also described the situation with gasoline supply in the city as "bad". "Somewhere there is gasoline, somewhere there isn't. Large network gas stations (for example, 'Rosneft') operate without interruptions, while others periodically close. Other gas stations sell gasoline through fuel cards, although officially there is no gasoline there. And the lines are such that there are already people offering (for money, of course) to stand in line for you. At the same time, prices have not risen significantly at large networks, but have risen sharply at private gas stations. If 'Rosneft' sells a liter of gasoline for 70-71 rubles, then at commercial gas stations it is 120 rubles," he noted.

Alexander also shared an example of administrative "connections" that became known to him. "In the Stanitsa Severskaya, the local prosecutor gathered gas station owners and demanded that the employees of the prosecutor's office be served first. And I saw such a car - 'civilian' in appearance, but with some person in uniform. He arrived, approached the cash register, and was filled up outside of the line," he said.

In each line, there are two or three cars from Crimea.

He also emphasized that incoming people from Crimea play a significant role in the emergence of the deficit. "There are cars coming filled with canisters. In each line, there are two or three cars from Crimea. I heard from those who returned from Crimea that there a liter of gasoline costs 400, and sometimes even 900 rubles per liter. Hence the desire to fill canisters here and make a profit," concluded the driver.

Oksana called the situation with gasoline a "disaster". "Seven gas stations sell gasoline only through fuel cards, the others - without. But at these gas stations, you have to wait up to three hours, and in the worst case, if you hit the moment when the gas station runs out of stock and they are waiting for a new delivery from the oil depot - and all six. Moreover, people stand in line both day and night, although at night it is useless - there is still no delivery," she said.

Oksana also noted a significant price discrepancy at different gas stations. "'Rosneft' sells gasoline for 81 rubles, while 'Ufanef' sells it for 120 rubles," she stated.

The residents of Anapa, including myself, have put our cars on hold and prefer to walk.

A similarly difficult situation has developed in Anapa. A local resident Alexey reported that the lines of those wishing to refuel stretch for 500-700 meters. "People stand for several hours. Mostly, however, these are vacationers who are eager to leave here. The residents of Anapa, including myself, have put our cars on hold and prefer to walk," he stated.

A driver Karen shared that people, a significant portion of whom are tourists eager to return home, stand in lines for gasoline until three in the morning and from six in the morning. He also noted that at some gas stations, gasoline is sold for 120 rubles per liter. "It's all tough," concluded Karen.

There are connections - the gas station is formally closed, there is no gasoline, cones are set up, but the right car arrives and refuels.

Another driver, wishing to remain anonymous, confirmed that the situation in Anapa is severe. "The situation is very difficult. There are long lines at gas stations, and they only sell through fuel cards, which are impossible to obtain, the limit is 30 liters of gasoline. But there are connections - the gas station is formally closed, there is no gasoline, cones are set up, but the right car arrives and refuels," he noted. According to his feelings, gasoline prices have roughly doubled.

The opinion of Dmitry, who noted that there are no special lines in Anapa and gasoline prices have not risen, sounded discordant.

A resident of Gelendzhik Alexander noted that "there is no gasoline." "People sometimes stand in line for 6-8 hours. Moreover, mostly locals are in line, there are almost no tourists with cars here. Gasoline prices have risen significantly," he remarked.

Another resident of the city Vitaly also confirmed that in Gelendzhik "there is absolutely no gasoline."

Another resident of Gelendzhik Viktor stated that some gas stations are completely closed, and at the remaining ones, you have to wait up to three hours. However, according to his estimate, gasoline prices have not risen.

People stand for hours in line, many cannot hold their nerves.

A resident of Sochi Yuri noted that "there is gasoline, but not always." "People stand for hours in line, many cannot hold their nerves," he noted.

Yuri admitted that prices at gas stations have risen, but noted that where they have risen to 120 rubles, there are practically no lines, and therefore one can refuel quickly.

Another driver Ruslan also confirmed the existence of such a dilemma. "You either pay more - or stand in line. Each person can be given 30 liters of gasoline and 60 liters of diesel," he noted.

A Sochi resident Alexander noted that only the network gas stations of "Rosneft" and "Lukoil" operate without interruptions, "But there are restrictions on refueling, and you have to spend a lot of time to refuel," he concluded.
