The Anapa resident has been arrested on suspicion of aiding the Ukrainian special services.

The FSB reported the detention of a resident of Anapa, who, according to the security forces, was gathering information on behalf of the Ukrainian special services.

According to the investigation, a resident of Anapa born in 1990 himself established contact with SBU employees and then transmitted information about the location of armed forces and critical infrastructure facilities in the fuel and energy complex in Kuban.

The Anapa resident has been arrested, and a criminal case of treason has been initiated against him, the FSB noted.

"At the request of his curator, he collected and transmitted information to the enemy about the location of units of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and critical infrastructure facilities of the fuel and energy complex located in the Krasnodar Territory, recorded radio signal levels in areas of interest to military objects for use by the armed forces of Ukraine in planning missile and bombing attacks," the FSB's message was quoted by RIA "Novosti" today.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that it was previously known that a resident of Stavropol was accused of financing extremists. According to the investigation, from August 2021 to February 2022, he transferred money to the account of an organization recognized as extremist seven times.
