The fuel problems have worsened in Novorossiysk and Gelendzhik.

In Novorossiysk, gasoline is completely absent at gas stations, while in Gelendzhik, AI-95 is available at only three stations, authorities reported.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the authorities of Kuban reported on restrictions on nighttime fuel sales and urged to minimize trips. In Krasnodar, against the backdrop of information that 44 out of 114 gas stations are operational, people began selling places in line for fuel. Just over 43% of gas stations are open, according to municipal reports.

On June 29, authorities reported that only part of the gas stations in Krasnodar Krai are operational, and some have imposed restrictions on sales at the owners' decision. Governor Veniamin Kondratiev explained the rise in fuel prices by the tourist season and the influx of vacationers. On June 30, it was reported that long queues at gas stations in Kuban have led to conflicts among car owners. More than a third of gas stations in Kuban have closed or reduced their operating hours, the vice-governor of the region stated on July 1. In at least three municipalities, authorities sent Cossacks and militia to gas stations to prevent conflicts in fuel queues.

In Novorossiysk, there is no gasoline at any gas station this morning, reported the municipal management center of Novorossiysk on its website.

"Currently, gasoline is absent at gas stations. Refueling is only possible with fuel cards. Diesel fuel is available in limited quantities at eight gas stations," the message states. Authorities also urged to use the fuel availability map they created, which indicates that fuel is available at 18 gas stations, while 15 are not operational. According to authorities, AI-92 is available at 12 gas stations, AI-95 at 10, and diesel at 16.

The data from the authorities' map is not confirmed by the "GdeBenz" (Gdebenz.ru) service; users reported that there is almost no gasoline at gas stations in Novorossiysk today (red markers on the map indicate gas stations without fuel, orange indicate long queues). For instance, according to car owners, fuel is available at Sukhumskoye Highway 73, but some users reported that there is no gasoline here. The availability of fuel on Admiral Serebryakov Street is also in question. After several reports that fuel is available, one of the users informed that there is nothing in stock. The Gdebenz.ru service is based on user reports, so the information displayed on the map is not official. "Caucasian Knot" does not have the ability to promptly verify the accuracy of the information published by users.

The administration of Gelendzhik reported on its social media page "VKontakte" that as of 9:00, 7 gas stations are operational. "By the owners' decision, a restriction has been imposed: fuel is dispensed exclusively into fuel tanks in volumes of 20/30/50 liters per vehicle. AI-100 is available at 1 gas station.
AI-95 is available at 3 gas stations. AI-92 is available at 2 gas stations. Diesel fuel (DT) is available at 2 gas stations. Four stations are currently not dispensing fuel. Two stations are undergoing repairs," the message states.
