Residents of Rostov's villages criticized the governor's report on the water supply to their homes.

Governor Yuri Slyusar reported today on the resumption of water supply to the homes of residents of the village of Krasny Krym, who had previously complained that there had been no water for about a week. The villagers themselves stated in comments to the governor's publication on Telegram that water had not appeared on all streets.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", earlier residents of the village of Krasny Krym in the Myasnikovsky district of Rostov region complained that there had been no water in their homes for a week, and officials could not provide a timeline for the resumption of supply.

Water supply in the village of Krasny Krym has been restored, Governor of Rostov region Yuri Slyusar reported today on his Telegram channel.

This post on Yuri Slyusar's Telegram channel, which has more than 166,000 subscribers, had received 57 reactions and 41 comments by 3:00 PM Moscow time.

"There is still no water, and the Minister of Housing and Utilities should have checked the streets before writing unverified information to see how things really are with the water. It is clear that this is not the level of a minister," wrote Alex Marello.

"There is water in the village now and with normal pressure. You should know that there are several streets in the village that always have pressure issues. It's about 3-4 streets, and the fault lies initially with the developer," responded user E.R.

"Which developer? Our streets are not built like Chinese quarters. There were no developers here," wrote Natalia.

"Dear Governor! Thank you for your promptness, but not all streets have normal pressure, only a very thin stream, there is practically no pressure," pointed out Natalia A.

"I wonder where there is water throughout the village with excellent pressure?" asked a user with the nickname Iya.

"What two atmospheres are being talked about? The water barely flows," wrote Kirill.

We remind you that residents of Rostov region periodically complain about the lack of water supply and the quality of water. Rostov's Rospotrebnadzor recognized the poor quality of drinking water in the region back in September 2022. In most cities and districts of the region, drinking water does not meet sanitary-chemical, microbiological, or parasitological standards, and in some, it fails several at once, the agency noted.

In 2021, "Rostovvodokanal" reported that the quality of water in Rostov-on-Don had become the worst in 20 years of observations. The organization linked the deterioration of water quality to pollution of the Don river.
