The number of people poisoned by the grocery store's products in Astrakhan has increased to 35.

In Astrakhan, five more people were hospitalized overnight with symptoms of food poisoning.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", one person has died in Astrakhan due to food poisoning. As of June 29, 30 people were hospitalized with intestinal infection.

Five people were admitted to the hospital overnight with signs of poisoning," – TASS quoted a law enforcement officer from the Astrakhan region today.

All patients have been hospitalized with suspected salmonellosis, clarified today by RIA "Novosti".

Recall that information about mass poisoning in Astrakhan became known on June 27. Sources previously noted that all those poisoned had purchased products from the grocery store "Mikhailovsky" – ready-made lunches and dinners. People felt stomach pain and nausea after eating. According to the owner of the grocery store, his employees were interrogated by Investigative Committee officials.
