Air pollution has been recorded in Slavyansk-on-Kuban after a drone attack.

The exceedance of the maximum permissible concentration of soot in the atmospheric air has been detected in the gardening partnership "Zarya" of Slavyansk-on-Kuban, where the fire at the oil refinery continues to be extinguished.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on June 28 in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, due to the fall of a drone fragment, a fire occurred on the territory of the oil refinery, and the fragments also damaged the power line, while windows were shattered in one of the private houses.

According to the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, the results of air quality studies for June 28 have been published. For most of the indicators studied, no exceedances were detected in a number of settlements, including Slavyansk-on-Kuban, reports "Interfax" today.

"In most control points in the territory of the Slavyansky district, no exceedances of pollutants were detected. At the same time, in the area of the gardening partnership "Zarya", specialists recorded an exceedance of the permissible level of soot content in the atmospheric air," the center's message states.

Earlier, the head of the Slavyansky district, Roman Sinyagovsky, reported that the area of the fire at the oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban has been reduced by half, informs "Kommersant".

"The extinguishing of the fire at the oil processing enterprise continues. The area of the fire has been reduced by half by the firefighters," the official reported.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that firefighters extinguished a fire at the oil depot in the village of Poltavskaya, which occurred as a result of the fall of drone fragments on June 25.
