A drone attacked the Sambek Heights museum complex - 12 victims were taken to the hospital, 10 of whom were hospitalized, the governor of the Rostov region reported.
As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", on May 17 in the village of Natalyevka in the Neklinovsky district, as a result of falling UAV debris the roof of one of the buildings in the children's health complex "Sputnik" was damaged.
As a result of a drone attack on the Sambek Heights museum complex, 12 victims were taken to the hospital. Ten of them were hospitalized, while two refused hospitalization, Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar reported.
The strike hit the main building of the military history museum, which houses the information and exhibition center. According to preliminary data, the museum exhibits themselves were not damaged, he reported on his Telegram channel.
The museum was created with donations from the public in memory of the heroism of our ancestors, Soviet soldiers who broke through enemy defenses on the Mius River in 1943. This place is especially significant for every resident of the Rostov Region, Slyusar emphasized.
The museum is located in the village of Sambek in the Neklinovsky District, according to information on its website.
In the Rostov Region, there is a ban on filming air strikes and their aftermath, air defense operations, and military units. The corresponding Governor's decree was published on the "Caucasian Knot."
