Residents of several high-rise buildings in Volzhsky complained of a prolonged gas outage.

Residents of several apartment buildings in Volzhsky complained about the gas company's refusal to restore gas service. According to residents, they corrected all violations identified during an inspection more than a week ago, but the gas supply has still not been restored.

In Volzhsky, residents of buildings No. 65, 71, 73, and 75 on Naberezhnaya Street complained about an unjustified gas shutoff. According to them, the gas supply was not restored even after the violations identified during the inspection were corrected.

A video of a message from Volzhsky residents was published today by the Telegram channel "RusNews."

"They say we have malfunctions. All the malfunctions have been fixed. No one has turned on the gas since the 12th," said one of the local residents in the video.

He added that disabled people, elderly people, and children live in his building. "The order came three days after the gas was shut off. I think it's illegal," the Volzhsky resident added.

Violations were discovered during an inspection at building No. 73 on Naberezhnaya Street, and residents agreed with them, noted another local resident. "We corrected the violations and all the defects. The inspection company came, checked everything, and issued certificates of defect correction. Our apartment still hasn't been reconnected," he noted.

The gas supply to building No. 71 on Naberezhnaya Street was shut off on June 14. The violations discovered by the inspectors were corrected within a day, said a resident of the building. "If an employee had come to us in advance and told us everything, there wouldn't have been any problems," she noted.

"Everything was fixed in one day, and for a week now, we've been trying to get the gas service to notify us that everything has been fixed," said a resident of the building.

Another local resident noted that not all entrances were inspected during the inspection, but despite this, the gas supply to her apartment was cut off.

Attached to the publication is a screenshot of a message from OOO UK Gorodskoye Upravlenie (City Management) in a messenger, in which the company explained that Gazprom shut off the gas supply because an inspection of the smoke ventilation ducts revealed violations that could lead to poisoning.

As of 7:50 AM Moscow time on June 23, there were no comments on the websites of the Volzhsky administration and the Volgograd region administration regarding the residents' complaint. Volzhsky for an unjustified gas shutdown.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that residents of the Volgograd Region have repeatedly complained about gas suppliers. For example, back in April 2017, the Volgograd Region Antimonopoly Service issued a fine of 325,000 rubles against Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Volgograd LLC for terminating gas supplies to the city of Kotovo.

In January of this year, residents of Kotovo complained about a lack of gas during freezing temperatures. During the severe frosts, gas supplies were cut off in residential areas, especially acute for residents of the private sector whose homes are heated by boilers.
