Hail caused damage to residents of several settlements in Armenia

Hail damaged property and crops in several villages in Armenia, and the harvest was completely destroyed in the village of Jujevan.

Hail caused severe damage in several villages in the Noyamberyan region of Armenia.

In the village of Jujevan, hail destroyed 100% of the harvest. According to the head of the village, Ambartsum Petrosyan, there was no serious damage to homes, but "the harvest was 100 percent damaged." Walnut trees were also damaged. The village head also noted that the last time such severe hail fell in the community was in 2011, News.am reported on June 21.

In addition to Jujevan, hail caused serious damage to the crops and property of residents of Baganis, Koti, Voskevan, and Voskepar.

In Voskevan, according to its head, Sergey Grigoryan, the roofs of 50 percent of houses were damaged. Cars and crops were also damaged. The village head also noted that local residents had never seen such severe hail.

Previously, "Caucasian Knot" reported that last June, due to hail and strong winds, a workshop of the Aghababyan Wines winery was flooded. In several regions of Armenia, bad weather damaged roofs and caused significant losses to crops.
