Supporters of European integration have been demanding change in Georgia for the 571st day in a row.

Protesters took to the streets in Tbilisi for the 571st time, demanding a change in Georgia's political course and the release of political prisoners.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," the release of prisoners of conscience was demanded by participants in a march in Tbilisi on June 20, dedicated to the seventh anniversary of the dispersal of protests on "Gavrilov Night."

Protests are taking place outside the Georgian Parliament for the 571st consecutive day today. Participants are demanding a change in Georgia's political course and a return to the path of European integration, as well as the release of political prisoners persecuted for participating in the protests, according to photographs published on the Facebook page* of photographer Giorgi Mosiashvili (Mo Se).

The protesters held handwritten posters and flags of Georgia, the European Union, the United States, and Ukraine. "I will not give up," read one of the posters.

The atmosphere outside the parliament building is calm, and children are present at the protest. Many people are sitting, reading something on their phones, chatting, according to photographs published by Publika.

Protesters in Georgia have been demanding new parliamentary elections and the release of political prisoners since November 28, 2024. Security forces carried out violent dispersals of the protests, using tear gas and water cannons, and detained protesters. Thousands of people were subjected to administrative prosecution during the protests. The "Caucasian Knot" has prepared a report, "Key Points to the Persecution of Protest Participants in Georgia".
