Two soldiers from the Astrakhan region were killed in a military operation.

Rinat Temirbulatov and Aleksey Cherkasov were killed in the military operation. Since its beginning, at least 746 soldiers from the Astrakhan region have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by May 30, at least 744 soldiers from the Astrakhan region had been officially recognized as killed in the military operation. At that time, the Krasnoyarsk District administration reported that Arman Dzhelmukanov had been killed in the SVO zone.

The Order of Courage was presented to the families of the Krasnoyarsk servicemen killed on the battlefields in the SVO zone, the Krasnoyarsk Municipal District administration announced on its Telegram channel on June 5. The list of those killed includes Rinat Temirbulatov and Alexey Cherkasov; biographical details are not provided in the statement.

Thus, at least 746 fighters from the Astrakhan region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially released by government officials and security agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "NVO Statistics: Losses Are Mounting for Southern Russia."

State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on Channel One do not guarantee state support for the families of those killed, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Three Comrades Served: How the Authorities Are Depriving the Families of Killed Volunteers of Benefits," which describes the stories of the slain soldiers. Thus, the mother of the murdered Dmitry Ukhanov said that she searched for her son's body for four months, and the administration and military registration and enlistment office staff inquired about the search progress from her without providing any assistance.
