A military court in Grozny sentenced contract soldier Idrisov to six years in prison, finding him guilty of leaving his unit without permission.
According to the case materials, contract soldier Idrisov left his military unit without permission on February 28, 2025, wanting to rest and temporarily evade military service.
On December 19, 2025, Idrisov reported to the 505th Military Investigative Department and identified himself as a serviceman who had left his unit without permission, the press service of the Grozny Garrison Military Court reported.
The court sentenced Idrisov to six years in a general regime penal colony, finding him guilty of leaving his unit without permission, according to a statement published on the court's website.
There were no comments from Idrisov or his representatives regarding No court verdict has been received.
