Authorities reported the completion of repairs to the Mozdok-Kazimagomed gas pipeline.

Repairs to the Mozdok-Kazimagomed gas pipeline, where a fire occurred on June 9, have been completed, Dagestan authorities reported today.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on June 10, Dagestan authorities announced that the section of the Mozdok-Kazimagomed gas pipeline near Kizilyurt, where the fire occurred, is planned to be repaired within three days.

Emergency restoration work on the Mozdok-Kazimagomed gas pipeline has been completed, Acting Minister of Energy and Tariffs of Dagestan Marat Shikhaliev announced today on his Telegram channel.

The system is filled with gas. Gas distribution companies have already begun a phased connection of consumers, the publication states.

The explosion interrupted gas supply to residents of Kizilyurt, Kizilyurt, Kazbekovsky, and Khasavyurt districts, Shikhaliev clarified.

As a reminder, a fire broke out on the Mozdok-Kazimagomed main gas pipeline on June 9. The head of Kizilyurt previously noted that the cause of the emergency was a technical failure, and rumors of a gas pipeline explosion are unfounded. We have updated our apps for Android and iOS!
