By order of the Russian Minister of Defense, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, was awarded an honorary diploma.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," in December of last year, the director of the Russian National Guard, Viktor Zolotov, awarded the head of Chechnya the medal "For Distinction in Combat."

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, was awarded an honorary diploma by the Russian Ministry of Defense, as announced by the chairman of the republic's government, Magomed Daudov, on his Telegram channel 12 June.

Daudov noted that Kadyrov was awarded the honorary certificate "for assistance in solving the tasks assigned to the Russian Armed Forces." The head of the Chechen government also clarified that Kadyrov "makes a significant contribution to achieving the goals of the special military operation."

Ramzan Kadyrov has more than 85 awards and titles. He received one of his most recent awards, a medal for his contribution to the development of farming, in October 2025, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Kadyrov and his awards." During the first Chechen campaign (1994-1996), Ramzan Kadyrov fought on the side of the separatists, according to a biographical note prepared by the Caucasian Knot.
