A fighter from Karachay-Cherkessia was killed in the SVO zone.

Ramir Baikulov was killed in a military operation in Ukraine. Since its beginning, at least 197 fighters from Karachay-Cherkessia have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by May 24, authorities and security forces had recognized at least 196 fighters from Karachay-Cherkessia as killed in the special military operation.

Ramir Baikulov was killed in a military operation, Karachayevsk Mayor Spartak Kushchetov announced on his Telegram channel.

Ramir was born on August 30, 2006, in the village of Verkhnyaya Mara and grew up and studied in the village of Mara-Ayagy. He signed a contract immediately after receiving his high school diploma. He was awarded the Order of Courage posthumously, the statement said.

Thus, since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 197 soldiers from Karachay-Cherkessia have been officially recognized as killed.

In October 2024, Karachayevsk authorities reported that Munir Dzhashakuyev and Viktor Isayev were killed in the SVO zone.
