The court ruled that the refusal to pay a contract soldier from Volgograd was legal.

The appellate court upheld the denial of pay to Volgograd contract soldier Taifur Bekbulatov for the eight months he was held in the guardhouse.

According to the case materials, Volgograd contract soldier Taifur Bekbulatov arrived in the special military operation zone on May 21, 2022, and was held in the guardhouse of the Donetsk military commandant's office from May 29, 2022, to January 26, 2023, as he was being investigated for a criminal offense.

A criminal case was ultimately not opened against Bekbulatov, leading him to believe that his detention in the guardhouse was unjustified.

He then filed a lawsuit demanding that he be paid pay and compensation. for missed weekends. However, the court in Volgograd, followed by the appellate court, denied his claim, according to the case file published on the website of the Southern District Military Court.

The Southern District Military Court also denied Bekbulatov's claim, explaining that during the time the contract soldier was in the guardhouse, he failed to perform his official duties, according to the case file.

No comments were received from Taifur Bekbulatov or his representatives regarding the court's decision.

"Caucasian Knot" also wrote that Kamilpasha Khasbulatov, a contract soldier from Dagestan, had previously appealed the hospital's refusal to issue him a certificate of injury after a concussion he received in Ukraine, but the military court in Makhachkala did not recognize it.
