Seven teenagers and one adult resident of Stavropol are suspected of failing to report a crime. Investigators believe they concealed information they had about a planned terrorist attack from law enforcement.

A resident of Stavropol and seven teenagers are facing criminal charges for failing to report a crime. According to investigators, in 2025, the 21-year-old suspect and seven minors, aged 14 to 17, learned of their minor acquaintance's involvement in an international terrorist organization that recruited and prepared terrorist attacks. However, the suspects failed to report this information to law enforcement.

Criminal cases have been opened against eight residents of the Andropov District, including seven minors. They are suspected of failing to report a crime , the Investigative Committee of the Stavropol Territory reported today on its Telegram channel.

"Currently, investigators from the Investigative Committee of Russia are conducting investigative actions aimed at consolidating the available evidence. The investigation of the criminal cases is ongoing," the agency said in a statement.

The regional Investigative Committee did not specify which terrorist organization was being referred to or where the terrorist attacks were planned.

"Kakvkazsky Uzel" also reported that a 17-year-old boy from the Stavropol Territory, under the influence of scammers, attempted to set fire to a train car at the Inskaya station in the Novosibirsk region. The attempt failed, the young man was detained.
