Following an emergency meeting of the Emergency Situations Commission, a decision was made to expand the boundaries of the state of emergency declared on May 27, Taganrog Mayor Svetlana Kambulova announced today on her Telegram channel.
According to her, the attack damaged commercial organizations and one social facility, shattered windows in several residential buildings, and damaged one car.
Damage to cars has repeatedly appeared in reports on the consequences of drone attacks in the Rostov Region, but compensation for them was not provided until December 2025. Only after a Taganrog resident who lost his car asked the governor about payments during a direct line, did authorities determine the compensation procedure for car owners. The resolution provides for compensation of up to 500,000 rubles per damaged vehicle and up to a million rubles per destroyed vehicle.
Authorities received 21 complaints from city residents regarding damaged windows in buildings and structures, the mayor announced.
"Specialists have begun inspecting residential and commercial properties to assess the damage. All inquiries will be processed, and commissions will be dispatched to each address," she assured.
A window in a kindergarten was damaged in the attack.

Air attacks in Taganrog occur regularly
As a reminder, Taganrog, in the western district of which the Beriev Aircraft Plant (TANTK) is located, is regularly subject to air attacks. Residents of a building in central Taganrog damaged by a rocket in the summer of 2023 were paid 10,000 rubles each by authorities and had their broken windows replaced, although the apartments required significant repairs. Victims have the right to seek compensation through the courts, lawyers interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" indicated.
